Quidd: Digital Collectibles App Reviews

1448 add

Ive been addicted since May (2017)

This game has had me hooked for longer than I expected

Less and less worth the effort it takes to get anything

Collecting on Quidd is like playing blackjack at the casino. The more you do it the more you realize the deck is stacked in the house his favour.

Terrible

Wish i could have all the time back i wasted on this app.

More Problems

So, "Bug Fixes"? There had been nothing but more problems Now, free coins every 2 hours are gone, still am unable to change profile pic, cant change username, and cant do anything with showcase, cant edit showcases (the only one I have wont save edits) and my profile is blank when I go on it and no shops for items load and the same is for trades, I know this may seem like it wont matter but Im giving this 7 days to fix or else Im deleting this app.

Seriously?!

I cannot even emphasize how disappointed I am with this app. When I first got it, it was very enjoyable to use, but now it seems like all they want is for you to spend real money. None of the reward offers work. My phone has crashed every single time Ive clicked a trade, freezing and making me restart it. Very close to deleting it. Waste of storage for an app that doesnt even work and constant logs me out.

Coins not received

The stickers are good but the apps promises coins if tasks are completed. I have yet to receive a single coin after completing a number of the tasks. Developer has not responded to in app email messages.

It’s always lagging

U NEED TO FIX THIS

Coooool but,

This is awesome app with cool stickers and nice trading community the only thing is it crashes a lot. Please fix

Its the best

U have to get it if u are a collector !!

Not working?

Quidd seems like a really cool app but when I try to create an account my screen just turns white and freezes. Not sure whats wrong : (

A dumb reason to give a two star

No matter what I do with stickers I cant put them any where on the text screen except when I copy it a send . It says I can drag it anywhere on the text screen

Pretty grindy and time wasting

First of all, the app is pretty cool when you first get it; trade cards, buy packs, and barter with real people. After a bit it gets boring and repetitive, for example the rick and morty category gets a new pack every day which sells out pretty fast, so for people who want to collect all the cards are going to keep grinding to collect every day’s full set, or they can spend a chunk of their money to buy coins and buy more packs. Another -1 point is that lots of the free coin offers don’t work. I spent 20 minutes doing a quiz, and when I aced it I found out that I didn’t get any coins from it. Some packs never get updated, even though they are pretty popular on Quidd, for example, Skyrim. I have the Whiterun Guard, Dragonborn, and the Daedric Warrior, all rare and low number editions. It’s almost impossible to get the last character, Alduin, because everyone who has him wants a full set of rare Rick and Morty figurines, or Fallout Super Mutants, etc. The Skyrim section hasn’t had anything added to it in a long time. Yet another -1 point, I got suspended without a reason. I haven’t cheated, I haven’t scammed, and everything I got into my account was legitimate, yet I’m still not able to trade after a week. TL;DR very grindy, focused on a couple select shows/games, some others are outdated even though they’re popular. Poor banning/suspending system.

Best App Ever

This Is The Best App I Ever Had...Im Going To Tell All My Friends About This App And Rate It 5 Star??Love It

Great concept; Crap execution.

The amount and variety of stickers/cards/etc. is fantastic, and the items ate well done and varied. However, the prices for packs, coin shop prices, and odds per pack are beyond disgusting. Quidds greed grows daily, as made apparent by the constantly rising packs prices. DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY.

Use to be fun

App was fun at first but now the runners of the app are just greedy. Hard to collect more than one category without spending a bunch of real money and they try make sure to release something almost every day with hard to get odds to take advantage of you. That way you have no coins left within a day or two so you have to spend real money if you want to continue collecting. There are ways you can earn free coins called "Tap Joys" but a majority of them dont work and they dont seem to care about fixing that, just taking your money.

Turning into Topps

Quidd was a new innovative digital card trading app from Topps. Recently the app has been declining in fun and increasing in cost to collect. From repurposing pops to new colours and charging a high amount of in-game currency, to snobby traders not understanding value, this app is headed for the exact dumpster as Topps. However, quidd can change this, but the longer they take the sooner the app dies. Here are just a few recommendation to the Quidd team: 1. Increase currency, or introduce a daily bonus to the users. To make a good trading app the Free to Play users (lower/middle class) need to be involved. They control what items have value and which ones dont. If you dont have the lower/middle class traders you lose the benefit of adding value to your app and enabling it to become more successful. The middle class makes 1-3 purchases weekly and arent afraid to spend a few bucks. These are the users that support the apps profit and growth. Its better to make 1$ from one hundred users then make 100$ from one user. 2. Diversify your releases. Quidd currently focuses on these channels; Game of Thrones, Marvel, Rick and Morty. You can guarantee a set from one of these channels daily, and probably even two. Quidd has plenty of channels in which they can work with. It would be nice to see a set released for every channel weekly. This doesnt mean you cannot release 3 marvel sets, just understand you can bring in more fans and money if you cover all channels. 3. Control your releases. This is a bit of an add on of the previous point, but dont have back to back days for a channel release. Make me crave to check-in daily if the channel I collect is being released. I dont want to open the app and see another Rick and Morty gif set a day after a POP or card release. This just tires me out instead of having the urge to collect. 4. Gif sets. Whyyyyyyyyy are these so expensive. Literally a video clip in a square, no creativity really needed. Im sure I could make a set in a few hours on adobe with no previous knowledge of the software. These are just a few key elements that I think would improve Quidd. I have used the app for over a year and have recently decided to take a break from collecting. I know this is a customers opinion, but it is one of a user that has been a digital trader for 2+ years. Tell your CEO he can do better, especially coming from a business school. Truly yours, bigfreakydaddy *First person to read this can have a Beautiful Death season 4 card. I have left a trade offer open on Purple Base Stickers in the Empire channel. My trade offer is under the character cookie.

Best app ever

You need it trust me. Its also extremely addictive.

Love the Game of Thrones cards.

Great App. Has some awesome Game of Thrones cards & stickers.

Dear people going to download the app

Anything rare in the slightest is insanely hard to get. Also don’t think about downloading it unless your willing to spend over 100 dollars on it. Everything is a money grab.

I’ve never seen developers so money hungry

I’ve been playing this app for months now, and I’ve come across many things that bug me. Not only does Quidd hound you to purchase its coin packs, but they also release too much to basically force you to get new packs from channels. The people are stingy and hoard these packs and force trades to people with little knowledge of the app to give them their rarer items through the trading system. A money-hungry app with selfish tenants.
