Quidd: Digital Collectibles App Reviews

First off, Love this app. I just hate the tapjoy rewards, the fact that most times that you never get the rewards after you download and run an app, or enter your email for something, and I just want that stuff fixed.

Quidd used to be extremely fun collectors game, relaxing and fun to trade with other people to complete sets. Now the fun is gone, six or more new sets released every day makes it impossible to enjoy, complete and the cost trying to collect new sets is unrealistic. Spending $10-$20 a day for Virtual cards that are worth nothing makes it an unplayable game anymore. It’s too bad the game has been ruined like Toops Star Wars with the greed and disregard for the customers.

Ill leave my original review intact for the sake of transparency but this app has become a dumpster fire. Its all quick money grabs, incredibly poor foresight, and completely mishandled events. The "we hear you, were working on it" phrase that is continuously spouted is nothing more than an empty promise to placate the masses. If youre into someone taking all your money and misrepresenting themselves at every turn, Quidds a great place for you! Oh and the feral children cussing you out because you wont give them stuff and clogging up the feeds with spam is an added bonus if youre into that kind of thing! This app is worthless..broken odds..staff that care less on any problems..don’t waste your time here..this is now Topps lite..and horrible looking pops is all you get here.. Lots to collect if you can buy or like the same item in 20 different colors.. faulksthadead

Play the game and spend a little to get the things you want and be happy. Dont over spend as youll regret it. The app has "friendly" staff but dont get fooled by their kindness of words as they dont repay it back!

I’ve been digital collecting for the past 5 years and Quidd has raised it to another level. I enjoy collecting my favorite channels like Firefly, Buffy and marvel. My favorite part is being able to collect stickers and GIFs that I can share through my iMessages with friends and family to express myself. The exciting part is owning exclusive ones that you can only use by collecting them. I can’t wait to see what else this app will deliver in the future.

I used to love Quidd so much. I would start my day off by collecting my coins and look to see what Quidd was going to release for the day and set timers on my phone so I didn’t miss anything. I spent so much on this app but I felt it was worth it because it became my hobby but recently it’s been a cash grab for this company. They are releasing things that are “almost impossible” to collect. So the only way you can have a chance is spending like $100 a day just to collect them all. I’m slowly giving up on this app. Oh and trading is next to impossible also. People want your first born child just for a 5000 Card count.

I play Quidd everyday and it is the BEST THING EVER!! 6 stars for sure. My only problem is that they ask for money too much basically. Other than that, my favorite app EVER!

Well, they messed up again and the app runs very slowly, crashes or freezes constantly and displays the wrong card info on trades, but hey, other than that its awesome ?. No end in site with the greed--super expensive pack and box costs coupled with horrible odds. I used to love spending money on Quidd. No more. They get nothing from me any more. Greedy company that couldnt care less about its patrons. They have FINALLY fixed the trade servers. It took 6 months too long but its finally better. App is still buggy and crashes frequently but the trade feature has been much improved. All other issues remain. Upgrade to two stars. 8/29/17 The servers stink, are as slow as molasses, crash frequently during set or special pack drops and trades take forever because the servers cant handle the load. Customer Service is almost completely non-existent. Prices have skyrocketed and it costs as much or more than a Topps app. I hope you enjoy Tapjoy and Funko, who are obviously investors or have heavy alliances. Its very heavy on pops now so if you like cards, youre out of luck. This was a good app with a great community. All gone. App is poor now and theyve chased away many serious collectors.

I had a lot of fun for a long time with this app, but the ability to play for free runs out eventually. You’ll have to pay to play eventually, even with their, “free coin wall.” Eventually you’ll exhaust your free offers and only receive free coins if you sign up for a paid service. It was fun while it lasted.

This is an amazing app! It is very addicting and I love it!

This app started out amazing. Great content, great community, fun collecting and trading. It has gone down a very steep hill. The content has gone downhill- there is still the odd beautiful or unique set which is what keeps me from walking completely but seems most of the content lately is recolored pops or cards from other sets repackaged with a higher price. Forget trying to play for free if you want to do more than one channel. The community has deteriorated to feeds full of sticker spam and counts of who commented first. And forget trying to trade outside of your trusted friends. On top of the challenge of trading with clueless newbies, thanks to no tutorial, there is the awful lag from the Quidd servers allowing people to sneak things into trades without you knowing. Worst of all though is the new tactic of selling coins for early access to sets which you can see is a clear path to paywalls for sets.

The app used to have a ton of cool content from shows I enjoyed which were rick and morty, regular show, and adventure time. Tons of cool stickers and cards and all was good. Then loads of people flocked to the app which is when it became a moneygrab. Now “packs” of stickers, gifs, cards etc. are impossible to pull with the “odds” your given on a particular set and the prices albeit fake currency don’t add up to get loads of dupes when all your wanting is to get stuff you don’t have. This results in losing many coins quickly. Well the coins aren’t real so why you so mad bro!!!?? When you run out of coins it’s not like they just hand you more, well they kinda do but not really. They give you 4K every three hours. To put in perspective how much that is, it will not buy you one 5 draw pull in a gif set for rick and morty with 45% of pulling anything you care about. That will cost 4250. Stickers range from 650-2500. Well there are tapjoy offers!?? Nope those are crap. Once you do the ones of any use like get to a level in a game your pretty much out of offers. They’ll put up a new one once or twice a week but nothing sustainable. At which point youll have to spend real money. If you have any aspiration of finishing a set you will spend no less than 60,000 of these digital coins. Not to mention if you want to rank or have higher value you’ll be looking at either double or triple the amount unless your just the prodigal freakin son. Anyways, if your tryin to join just don’t, I’m sittin here about 3/4 of the way out of the door, only thing keeping me here is that I have spent a good amount of time trying to fill my collection and for the first few weeks it wasn’t terrible. But it’s getting fairly bad with many users getting greedy and frustrated with quidd and there greed. It’s getting to be toxic because of how much of a money grab it is now. Casual collectors basically get the shaft. Hardcore collectors are fed up. Free coins every 3 hours isn’t nearly enough if you like more than 2 shows. Just probably stay away you whos readin this.

I’ve had the app for a while but it’s now not working for me. Usually the app works fine but after the update I can’t collect coins or get anything. I like this app and I hope it gets fixed in the future.

This app would get 5 stars if undertale stickers, cards and pops were in this

Needs overwatch stickers

Used to think this app was different than Topps card apps, but it is not! I love the Star Trek cards, but now you have to spend lots of money to get the collections. I’m done with this too!

After being in this app for over a year, I can honestly say Im pretty much done with Quidd. The ONLY reason Im still on it is because of the Game of Thrones channel. But like all other channels, they will eventually run out of ideas and ruin this channel as well at some point, with all their recolored pops and recycled images in " new" sets. If they can do that to a 30+ year old franchise like Star Trek, it will inevitably happen to GoT. Overall, the content to collect gets expensive fast. Yes, its great being a fan of some of the TV shows/ games each channel promotes, but it always gets to a point where you have to ask yourself if all the spending is really worth it. So 2 stars for now, only because of the GoT channel. But the moment I stop collecting (again), its going back to 1 star.
